ABOUT
Mission Statement: To provide spiritually mature, equipped, and motivated Christian chaplains to serve in correctional facilities nationally and internationally.
Purpose Statement: To meet the spiritual needs of both inmates and staff through ministry that includes evangelism, discipleship, and pastoral attention, while facilitating other religious faiths within the guidelines established by law and the individual correctional facility.

Volunteering in the jail is a chance to see God at work on every visit. The jail is a rich mission field just minutes from your home with no language barriers. You will not believe the sincerity and kindness of the inmates until you experience it.
VOLUNTEER NEEDS

Bible Teacher
Description:
Gives bible lessons in the downtown jail and the Henrietta jail
Time Commitment:
Flexible - Sometimes night, sometimes day, doesn't need to be every week and materials are provided.
Role:
Church Service Volunteer
Description:
Helps with a church service Northridge runs in the Henrietta jail on the third Sunday evening of every month
Time Commitment:
Flexible - Takes place monthly but we are asking for a few months per year.

Lesson Development
Description:
Help find and develop a new Bible lesson curriculum for inmates that uses easier to read translations of the Bible.
Time Commitment:
Flexible
Need:
A project leader and team members.

Lesson Grader
Description:
Grades the written bible lessons that inmates work on

Flexible - 7-11am Thursdays

Bible Cover Replacement
Description:
A community group can work together to put pre-made soft covers on donated Bibles.
